This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services, focused on delivering a world class sector that safeguards the welfare and rights of consumers. One of our critical functions is to assess and monitor quality of aged care and services against the Aged Care Quality Standards.
The Commission is seeking products and services to support our audit and assessment processes. We are looking for a solution to support consistency and efficiency across our Auditing and Assessment processes. The Commission conservatively anticipates conducting over 1000 audits from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 undertaken by approximately 350-400 staff.
The Commission intends to procure services to design and implement a configurable product to meet the Commission’s auditing and reporting requirements in an aged care setting.
The purpose of this audit product is for use by the Commission to streamline the capture of data and evidence collection during audits and, effective delivery of integrated reporting.
The product will be used by Auditors prior and during onsite audits, and it must have the ability to integrate with other systems used by the Commission as described in the requirements section.
Some of the expected outcomes from embedding a product into business practices include:
- Process efficiencies
- Consistency in decision making
- Structured evidence mapping
- Consolidation of audit data
- Streamlining of audit reporting
The Commission requires a tool that can be configured to meet the Commission’s current and future needs. The Supplier must demonstrate the ability to support and improve the Commission’s current auditing and reporting needs and extensibility to meet future-state requirements quickly and without disruption to the Commission’s auditing teams.
