Nillumbik Shire Council seeks a suitably qualified artist to develop site-specific public artwork, to be implemented on the interior of a new Changing Places facility.

The facility will be built at Alistair Knox Park, 829 Main Road, Eltham.

This Expression of Interest represents the first stage of the selection process.

Three successful artists will be shortlisted to submit a design proposal. Each shortlisted artist will be granted $500 for their developed concept.

The final awarded proposal will be installed at the designated location within the budget of $18,000.

The final awarded artist may be required to further refine the artwork concept and project plan in line with the Project Reference Group's feedback before the contract stage.

Submissions open on 26 February 2024 and will be accepted until 31 March 2024.
