SWTAFE is seeking tender submissions for construction maintenance services and hazardous materials removal (asbestos/insulation) at the Hamilton Campus, located at 200 Ballarat Road Hamilton, Victoria. There are three main packages of work within the scope, as outlined below. SWTAFE is seeking submissions of pricing for completion of these works under one combined package, all of which are to be completed under the supervision and control of a single head contractor (the tenderer).

Package A: Roof Replacement of Building 601

The works within the Roof Replacement of Building 601 scope is located at the SWTAFE Ballarat Road Campus (200 Ballarat Road, Hamilton, Victoria). Building 601 is the main building on the campus, with an approximate footprint of 2000m2. The roof sheeting and associated infrastructure has reached end of life, resulting in corrosion and water ingress issues.

Package B: Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) Removal

There are multiple buildings and areas throughout the campus that have had asbestos containing materials (ACMs) identified which SWTAFE are seeking to have removed safely and in accordance with the appropriate legislation.

Package C: Reinstatement of non-ACM Materials

The extent of this scope is defined by Package B, where modern, safe, non-ACM materials are to be reinstated in place of the asbestos that is removed and disposed of.

A briefing session will be held at 200 Ballarat Road, Hamilton, Victoria, Australia, 3300 on 19 March 2024 01:00 pm.
