Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from businesses wishing to pre-qualify and be considered for supply of a private resource of hardwood or softwood biomass material.

The EOI is the first stage of a multi-stage tender process. The objective of the EOI process is to identify businesses with suitable capacity, capability and experience that are interested in entering a future biomass supply arrangement.

Forico may identify the applicants that it considers best satisfy the evaluation criteria and will have sole determination whether an applicant is invited to submit a tender for any future proposed Request for Tender.

The potential supply of biomass material may include the following source material:

a)Harvest residues

b)Thinning residues

c)Processing residues

d)Softwood woodchip

e)Hardwood woodchip

Biomass will be sourced from Forico’s certified (FSC, PEFC, RW) private plantation forestry estate. Harvest residues will include wood, sticks, bark and leaves. Thinning residues will include wood, sticks, bark and leaves. Processing residues will include undersize wood chip and bark.
