Tennant Creek Women’s Refuge Inc invites individual and/or audit firms to submit tenders for the provision of auditing services for the financial year 01 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. The individual or

the firm must be a member of a recognised accounting bodies in Australian and/or a Registered Company Auditor.

These services aim to improve safety, reduce the impacts, promote recovery and wellbeing and nurture independence. Committed to transparency and accountability, we are seeking an independent individual or audit firm to ensure the integrity of our financial reporting processes.

Scope of Work: The selected individual or audit firm will be responsible for conducting a thorough examination of our financial records for the financial year ended 30 June 2024. It is a must that the audit report will be available for submission to funding bodies by 30 September 2024.

The work will include, but not limited to: Review of financial statements, ledgers, and accounts as extracted from MYOB accounting software, Verifying the accuracy of financial transactions, assessing compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards. Preparation of audited financial reports in compliance with the requirements of the funding body, the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC) and the NT Associations Act. Providing recommendations for improvements in financial practices and work place financial procedures, if necessary. Submission requirements:
