The Shire of Augusta Margaret River requires a supplier of road, traffic and safety signage, and associated accessories to ensure that the Shire complies with regulatory requirements. All signs are to be in accordance with AS1743:2018 and AS1742.

The contractor will be required to supply and deliver various types of signage from the following categories, as and when required:

• AS Regulatory Signs
• AS Warning Signs
• MRWA Warning Signs
• MRWA Guide Signs
• AS Temporary Signs
• MRWA Multi Message Signs
• AS and MRWA Hazard Markers
• Directional Signs
• Street Name Signs
• Sign Accessories and Road Furniture

Delivery will be required to be made to the Shire Depot, 230 Railway Terrace, Margaret River WA 6285, or other locations within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, as advised by the Principal from time to time.

Whilst it is anticipated that the bulk majority of signs and sign accessories will be purchased from the successful Contractor, the Principal offers no guarantee as to the quantity of supply required. The Principal reserves the right to, from time to time, purchase from other suppliers.

Similarly, were provision of signs and sign accessories form part of the scope of works for a larger works project, the contractor engaged to undertake that project shall be responsible for determining their own source of any road signage, which may or may not be the Contractor.
