Health Support Services (HSS) has a requirement for the provision of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) solution for the Patient Transport and Coordination Hub (PaTCH). PaTCH is a service stream within the State Health Operations Centre (SHOC) that is responsible for coordinating non-emergency transport for patient transfers, initially between public hospitals, with a future expansion to include community transfers and other service streams. This includes dispatching to contracted transporting providers.

HSS is seeking a CAD solution that will streamline and automate the booking, scheduling and dispatching of non-emergency patient transport, integrating vehicle tracking and messaging to drive efficiency and performance. The proposed solution is to be a configurable ‘off-the-shelf’ solution requiring minimal customisation. Emergency ambulance CAD dispatch would be considered out of scope for this process.
