Statement of Requirements

The Shire of Kent is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide the service of supplying and installing concrete footpaths along George Street in Nyabing.

All work is required for completion by the 30 June 2024.

The scope of works will include:

2.1 Footpath

Along George Street (eastern side), supply and install a concrete footpath from Hobley Street to Richmond Street (see Figure 1-3). The total length of the footpath is approximately 209 metres.

2.2 Pram Ramps

Along George Street (eastern side), pram ramps to be installed (one at the corner of Hobley and George Street and one each at BOTH corners of Aspendale and George Street Figure 1 and 4-6).

2.3 Crossovers

Along George Street (eastern side), crossovers to be installed at all existing residential properties (See Figure 1 and 7-8).

Specifications to include:

 Footpath to be 2 metres wide, with a thickness of 100mm

 Crossovers at all existing residential properties, with a thickness of 150mm

 All concrete work to include reinforcing mesh bar (SL62)

 Excavation works

 Concrete cutting as required

 Supply of all necessary materials (concrete, rebar)

 Construction and removal of concrete framework

 Supply, delivery, placing and finishing or concrete (25MPA)

 Reinstatement of any stormwater pipes from adjacent properties to the drain, including possible extensions to pipes

 Levelling of any servicing pits, Telstra pits, water/fire hydrants etc. the match the finished concrete level, if not boxing out (as agreed on site)
