The Artists in Schools grant program provides funding of up to $10,000 per project to schools to engage artists to co-design and deliver a creative project with students, teachers and the school community that provide innovative learning opportunities.

Artists in Schools aims to engage and strengthen relationships between artists, arts organisations, students, teachers, parents and the wider school community.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for professional artists to work and offer programs at individual and partnering schools.

The fund offers up to $7,000 for one or two schools and $10,000 for a group of schools.

Who can apply

All Northern Territory Schools are eligible to apply to the Artist in Schools Grants Program. An individual school or a group of Schools can apply. One application per School per round.

If you are applying as a group of schools, one school will need to take the role of making the application through GrantsNT.

If successful, the lead school will also need to manage the funds and complete the reporting.
