The role of Market Coordinator covers a few different aspects. The primary job of the Market Coordinator is to manage and oversee the running of the monthly markets.

Putting out and packing up signs and flags, opening and closing required power boxes, managing bi-monthly positional changes, and coordinating new stallholders. The Market Coordinator is to be the markets liaison with Moree Plains Shire Council, ensuring adherence to the Terms and Conditions by stallholders, be the first port of call for incoming enquiries, and to provide a written quarterly report on financial and attendance Council.

Special Events

The CONTRACTOR will collaborate with Council, Community Groups and Service Providers to develop unique event themes and oversee the organisation and promotion of these special events at the Moree Markets. These events could be seasonally (a Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter event), solstice/equinox based or dates of significance (Father’s Day, Christmas).
