The Shire of Augusta Margaret River (the Principal) is seeking Expressions of Interest from appropriate parties to replace the Shires current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business system, SynergySoft with a comprehensive and integrated ERP system that will allow us to adopt streamlined and automated business processes.

The main objective of the project is to replace the Shires current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business system, SynergySoft with an integrated and cloud-based ERP system that will allow the Augusta Margaret River Shire (The Shire) to provide improved community services and automated Shire processes. This project will also include assessing supporting applications for inclusion or integration.

The projects vision is to enable the Shire to be positioned as a leading WA Local Government, with business systems that enable the Shire to deliver on their commitments to the community. It will transform the customer and user experience by streamlining processes and deliver tools that are scalable and agile, supporting us to perform at our best, and a key enabler for continuous improvement.

The other key objectives are to:

• Achieve and support the objectives of the Shire's Strategic Community Plan, Corporate Business Plan and ICT Strategic Plan;
• Improve efficiency and productivity - reduction in manual processes through electronic workflows and automation; where possible, consolidate disparate systems allowing staff to access all the necessary tools for their job in one system; integrated data and processes
• Implement a business system that uses current technology, keeping the Shire up to date in ICT
• Improve customer service by reducing response times, delivering customer dashboards and improving the Shire's e-Services capability, fast and accurate access to customer information and history
• Improve cross functional work practices including integration of multiple siloed information and data stores;
• Establish a 'single source of truth' that will allow the Shire to create reliable and meaningful reports and dashboards; consolidated data provides greater transparency and access to information that is accurate and relevant; improves insights and collaboration
• Implement process improvements by streamlining processes and integrating them within the system
• Improve compliance and risk management
• Improve data and system security
• Provide mobility and flexibility
