Tender Description
The Services to be provided under this Agreement will be a Schedule of Rates contract overseeing the function of towing Clearway Tow Away zones, Hazard Towing and Abandoned Vehicle Towing. This Registration of Interest (ROI) aims to engage a contractor for the following purposes:
- Monitor clearway tow away zones during peak periods within a 20km radius of the CBD, and subsequently tow, impound and store vehicles in a secure depot near the CBD.
- Hazard tow a vehicle to the nearest safe location within 30 minutes of the request if a vehicle is stationary on a critical route within Melbourne Metro.
- Tow any vehicle designated as abandoned within the Melbourne Metro, within a timeframe of 4 hours subsequent to the Department’s request.
