Tender Description
Swan Hill Rural City Council is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to construct a regional ‘nature based’ playground at the Centenary Park, Robinvale.
This is a three part contract as follows:-
Part A - Playground Works
The major parts of the project include:
• Concrete works comprising drainage, paving, surfaces, rockwork, and timber.
• Supply and installation of 6 solar streetlights (Recommended Solar lights are included along with the designs, but council is open for any better option), including footings.
• Masonry and stonemason services
• Supply and installation of shade sails and footings.
Part B - Playground Equipment
The proposed works as part of the project include:
• Supply and installation of the Play equipment.
• Installation of a play tower (similar or equivalent) within the suggested area, without altering the footprint
• Tenderers pricing for a different play tower design must provide a concept design with their submission.
• Installation of Play Softfall Surfacing as per the design and specifications provided by the council.
• Supply and installation of steel sculptures.(Kangaroo, Cockatoo)
Part C - Landscaping
The third part of the project encompasses:
• Irrigation
• Soil preparation
• Grassing
• Supply and plantation of trees and plants.
• Landscape establishment.
Tenders may quote on one, two or all three parts. Council reserves the right to award the contract to three different Tenderer’s or one Tenderer as a whole.
A non-mandatory request briefing/information session is scheduled to be held at 10.00am Tuesday 30th April 2024 via Microsoft Teams.
