The Contract Works are for the renewal of a playground at Boyes Park Reserve, 64 Wylie Street, Glenholme, Rotorua 3010 which are to be completed by Tuesday the 30th of July 2024. (Subject to arrival of Play Equipment from overseas).

The works comprise of the install of a new playground, furniture and landscaping.

The preference is for site to be closed for a maximum allowance of 45 calendar days. Council must be notified 2 weeks prior to works commencing so the public can also be notified.

The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed in the technical specification.

Landscape works included in this construction are for the supply of all: plants, labour, materials, quality assurance, as-built drawings and incidentals necessary for:

a. Supply and/or installation of landscape features (as per the pricing schedule) in the playground, including: edging, boulders, logs, log-steps, planting, paths, drainage, outdoor furniture, concreting and safety surfaces of the playground.

b. Liaising with playground companies, regarding the timing of the delivery of selected playground equipment

c. Prepare and plant various garden beds

d. Re-seed grassed areas affected by the construction works.

Tenderers are advised that the Principal, reserves the right to vary the scale of the works to fit within the constraints of the available funding for this project.

Attending the planned site visit is mandatory for tendering for this contract.
