Tenders are sought from suitably experienced and reputable companies for:

• supply, installation and configuration of three Personal Item Screeners (or equivalent)
• supply, installation and configuration of two Big Bag Screening Machines (or equivalent)
• ongoing maintenance and support for items 1 and 2 for a period of 5 years from the commissioning date
• removal and disposal of existing security screening equipment in accordance with relevant legislation. 

Briefings

Site visit to inspect installation locations of equipment to be procured.

A briefing session will be held at Station Pier, 9 Waterfront Place, Port Melbourne, VIC, Australia, 3207 on 1 May 2024 11:00 am.

Notes: Provide full names of any staff attending site visit, If you wish to park on Station Pier please supply vehicle registration numbers of vehicles to be used when visiting Station Pier. In addition to the details required to register for the visit provide the details of names and vehicles to Mark.McKenna@ports.vic.gov.auThere is public parking available (at your own cost) in front of the pier and you can then access the pier on foot. If names supplied do not match official ID and/or vehicle registration of vehicle being used to access the pier does not match registration details supplied, then access to Station Pier will be denied.

A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
