Tender Description
Pilbara Ports is developing the Lumsden Point General Cargo Facility and Logistics Hub (LCGF). The LCGF is a new multi-user facility and logistics hub that will facilitate the export of critical minerals, the import of renewable energy infrastructure, import/export of general cargo, and the import of bulk liquids. The objective of this tender for Works Package 5A is to design and construct two wharfs, known as PH5 and PH6 at Lumsden Point.
Site Visit
A site visit will be held at Hedland Tower, Pilbara Ports Authority Reception, The Esplanade, Port Hedland at 9 May, 2024 10:00 AM.
For the mandatory briefing and site visit Tenderers should note the following with further details available in Section A of the tender documents.
Tenderers must ensure that when visiting the Site its personnel do so in accordance with PPA’s safety and other requirements. Tenderers are required to wear full Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (PPE) during the site visit. Full PPE consists of safety footwear; safety helmet (hard hat); safety glasses with side shields to AS/NZS 1337 standard; high visibility clothing; long sleeve shirt and trousers; protective clothing as necessary and hearing protection as necessary.
Tenderers must provide their own vehicles for the site visit fitted with an operational roof mounted amber flashing light and a 2 way radio. It is also preferable that the vehicle is 4WD.
Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
