The project will complete approx. 100m of boardwalk from the carpark to connect in with the existing boardwalk adjacent to Chase Terrace

Scope of Works

1. Dismantling and reuse of 25m of existing boardwalk.

2. Realigning and installation of boardwalk extension within the road reserve to connect the carpark at 60 Seaview Road and the beach (via existing boardwalk).

3. Maintain gradients of finished boardwalk height to accommodate Accessibility users.

4. Install box steps at existing entrance to boardwalk (opposite Chase gorge road) to provide secondary access to new Boardwalk.

5. Prepare, obtain, and adhere to the approved Traffic Management Plan and other traffic requirements, including all temporary traffic control, signals, signage, barriers, lighting and protection of the works as required.

6. Installation, maintenance, and removal post construction of all environmental protection works including but not limited to sediment and erosion control, tree protection and noise limitation.

Separable portion 1: Toilet Block decommission

7. Remove debris and roof from existing Toilet block.

8. Decommission existing holding tank and remove sanitary fixtures and fittings.

9. Install safety mesh on over roof area.cap Location and protection of all existing services within construction area throughout works.

10. Block up existing accesses.

11. Provide PS confirming decommissioning of septic system.

12. Installation, maintenance, and removal post construction of all environmental protection works including but not limited to sediment and erosion control, tree protection and noise limitation.

13. Provide as-builts.

Separable portion 2: Staircase Construction and Installation

14. Construct and Install a Staircase at approximate Chainage 90-95, including two additional piles opposite Chase Gorge Road.
