ABOUT LIVERPOOL: Liverpool is fast becoming Sydney's third CBD as the Gateway City to Western Sydney Airport. Its current population of almost 250,000 is estimated to reach over 300,000 by 2030. Liverpool City Council is leading the community through a period of rapid change and growth towards a more dynamic city centre with a vibrant night-time economy.

ABOUT THE PROPOSED CONTRACT: Liverpool City Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Aquatic and Leisure Centre operator to manage its three (3) Leisure and Aquatic Centres including Whitlam Leisure Centre, Michael Wenden Aquatic Centre and Michael Clarke Recreation Centres. The Leisure Centre Manager is expected to support Council's objectives in maximising participation in structures and unstructured sport and recreation activity through:

1. Delivery of quality sport, fitness and recreation services and programs within the aquatic and leisure centres.

2. Delivery recreation services and programs that support Councils gender equity target in sports participation.

3. Delivery of recreation services and programs that meet the needs of targeted populations including First Nations people, people from CALD backgrounds, Seniors, people with a disability, people experiencing financial hardship.

4. Utilisation and management of Councils fleet of three (3) community mini-buses.

5. Effective management of the leisure centre asset including building fabric and plan and equipment.

6. Management of all associated risks of leisure centre management.

7. Ensuring that the leisure centres are operated with a minimal impact on the local and global environment.

8. Supporting community groups and organisations in their delivery of programs to the community.

A non-mandatory site inspection/briefing will be held on Friday 10th May 2024 at the following times:

1. Whitlam Leisure Centre at 10.00am

2. Michael Wended Aquatic Centre at 12.00pm

3. Michael Clarke Recreation Centre at 2.00pm
