The West Coast municipality is located in the heart of the majestic wilderness of Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast. We consist of the main population centers of Queenstown, Strahan, Zeehan, Tullah and Rosebery and the small townships of Gormanston and Linda, with our picturesque coastal communities of Granville Harbour and Trial Harbour.

West Coast Council is seeking suitably qualified consultants or facilitators to work with our community to undertake and complete the next 10-year West Coast Community Plan.

This exciting project will consist of engaging with our local communities across the broader West Coast. You will get the privilege of experiencing the true heart of the West Coast, by capturing our concerns, dreams, and true essence, empowering our community to move forward, in the development of our future community plan.

We are seeking:

• Motivated, suitably qualified consultants or facilitators who can lead the project, and work with Council and our community.
• Flexibility to facilitate community engage sessions throughout our West Coast region.
• Collation, development, and completion of our next 10-year West Coast Community Plan document, in line with the West Coast Branding.
• Completion of project within Council’s timeframes, with Council’s endorsement of completed document by December 2024.
• A summary on the identified outcomes and actions from the plan.
