Murweh Shire Council sustained damage to road and drainage assets during the April 2024 flood event that requires restoration works to be undertaken under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements. To assist with the delivery of this restoration work, Council is seeking schedule of rates tender responses for the hire of plant and equipment commencing from 1 July 2024 onwards for a period of twelve (12) months with an option to extend into 2025/26 for a further 12 months. Restoration work will involve the following typical treatment types:

• Bulk excavation
• Bulk fill
• Medium formation grading
• Heavy formation grading
• Heavy formation grading incorporating 50mm of imported material
• Heavy formation grading incorporating 75mm of imported material
• 100mm gravel resheeting
• Heavy shoulder grading incorporating 50mm of imported material
• Reshape table drain

Council is seeking a schedule of hourly rates for the wet hire and / or dry hire of various items of plant and equipment, including but not limited to graders, rollers, loaders, water trucks, semi and road train side tippers, dozers and excavators.
