Tender Description
The Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) is calling for capable and experienced entities to obtain non-exclusive exploitation rights to shelf life prediction algorithms for selected mango and stone fruit varieties.
The objectives for this EOI are to identify suitable Licensees to:
- Make the shelf-life prediction algorithms commercially available to Australian mango and stone fruit growers and their supply chain partners.
- Integrate the algorithms into existing or planned web sites, dashboards or mobile apps where consignment monitoring data and/or supply chain handling recommendations are captured for selected varieties of mangoes and stone fruit.
- Assist with further refinement of the shelf-life algorithms through reciprocal sharing of observed shelf life data plus monitored supply chain handling time and temperature information.
- Provide feedback on shelf life algorithm performance.
- Provide recommendations for development of future additional variety and commodity shelf life prediction algorithms, including identifying and/or securing future co-investment opportunities.
