Establishment of a panel of safety case risk assessors to complete the assessment of risk management process and outcomes for Victorian Electricity Transmission and Distribution Businesses and Electricity Generation and Storage installations.

The Assessors are required to analyse and review formal safety risk assessments forming part of:

•Major Electricity Companies’ (MEC) Electricity Safety Management Schemes (ESMS) for quality and consistency with their general duty, pursuant to section 98 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998; or

•In the case of a complex electrical installation, the owner or operators voluntary ESMS (VESMS) for its complex electrical installation, pursuant to section 75 of the Electricity Safety Act 1998; or

•In the case of a declared installation, the declared owner or operators ESMS for quality and consistency with their general duty, pursuant to section 113G of the Electricity Safety Act 1998
