Deakin University is initiating a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to procure an external data centre co-location service. The service must be capable of hosting advanced GPU servers meeting the complex computational demands of our advanced AI research initiatives.

This RFP has the following mandatory requirements. Respondents who fail to meet any of the mandatory requirements may be eliminated from the assessment at Deakin's discretion.

1. Respondents must have additional capacity to meet additional power requirements for future hardware purchase of H200 and B100 servers.

2. Respondents must have high-capacity bandwidth connection to AARNet/VERNet internet link accommodating minimum 10GB of data transfer.

3. Respondents must have the ability to accommodate future Deakin's server infrastructure to be placed adjacent to the current servers.

4. Respondents must permit Deakin's representatives to cable between racks.

5. Respondents must provide 24/7, 7 days a week physical access to Deakin's representatives.

6. Respondents must have on-site support staff available for remote hands service.

7. Respondents must provide real-time access logs.
