Colac Area Health (CAH) invites tenders for the installation of new fire tank and associated services for the installation of new hydraulic equipment, including pipe-work, conduits and hydrants to create a higher capacity ‘fire ring’ around the perimeter of its Colac campus including the Corangamarah Resident Aged Care Facility.

Once implemented the fire ring will help to protect patients, staff and residents and limit damage to the site in the event of a fire. The fire tank will be installed in proximity to the corner of Miller Street and Corangamite Street, absorbing some of the existing garden space at Corangamarah.

The project will require the appointed contractor to modify some of the existing hydraulic infrastructure before implementing new infrastructure in accordance with the detailed design (Technical Specification) included as part of the tender documents.

While some flexibility in the implementation schedule can be negotiated, CAH is anticipating that practical completion will occur before 30 November 2024.
