The Shire of Three Springs is required to comply with the Local Government Act 1995 and Regulations in discharging its fiduciary duties to Council and the Rate Payers.

Local Government (Financial Management) Regulations 1996 specifically outlines the responsibilities for financial management.

Managing compliance with the legislation is the responsibility of the Deputy CEO, who requires external assistance from an appropriately qualified financial consultant in the analysis, preparation and audit of the Shire’s financials.

This tender is to select a suitably qualified and experience financial consultant to provide remote assistance to the staff at the Shire of Three Springs to perform a range of financial and rating services.

It is a mandatory requirement that the Tenderer can demonstrate extensive experience with and understanding of Local Government Financial Services.
