Council seeks to engage a locally based, community governed organisation with a demonstrated commitment to community development, and experience in delivering services, programs and activities which respond to the Mt Evelyn community to contribute to community wellbeing, lifelong learning, and volunteering.

Services are required to manage the Mt Evelyn Reading Room from 1 Sept 2024 or if the Tender process is delayed, a mutually agreed date shortly thereafter.

The service agreement with the successful tenderer will incorporate permission to manage and provide operational planning at the Mt Evelyn Reading Room (the facility), in liaison with Council and the other facility users.

A service agreement will be granted until 30 June 2029 with two options for extension of a further two years each, at Council’s discretion.
