Tender Description

This Tender is invited by the Issuer.

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) is the national regulator of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). It’s our responsibility to protect the rights of people with disability and make sure they have access to safe and high-quality disability services and supports. We do that by using a range of proactive and reactive regulatory measures, such as education, compliance, registration and worker screening activities.

The NDIS Commission is committed to following a Human-Centred Design (HCD) approach when designing digital channels. HCD is a methodology which includes interviews and other forms of direct customer, or user, engagement to understand people’s behaviours, pain points and aspirations. It prioritises the users’ needs and wants when designing products and solutions for them.

The NDIS Commission would like to conduct HCD research with people with disability to uncover the motivations, behaviours and preferences of people who need to interact with the Commission.

The research will play a critical role in informing how we structure our resources and the way we interact with people with disability and their supporters. For example, the NDIS Commission will use this research to redesign all front facing interfaces and channels so that people can find the information they need quickly and complete any tasks they have easily. The research will gather accessibility insights, so that we can better meet people’s expectations in the digital age.
