Scenic Rim Regional Council (“Council” or “Principal”) is seeking tenders in response to this Request for Tender (“RFT”) for construction works of multiple floodways as part of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) program.

Scenic Rim Regional Council (SRRC) will be replacing three damaged concrete floodways a providing one road realignment listed below and in section 1.2, which were damaged from recent flood events. This is to ensure ongoing transport connectivity and safety for road users.

• Cryna Road (CH6980-6986) and Price Creek Road (CH1940-2020) was damaged during the South East Queensland Rainfall and Flooding event on 22nd February - 5th April 2022 (February 2022 Event).

• Tamrookum Creek Road (CH5155-5170) was damaged during the Southern Queensland Flooding event in 6th - 20th May 2022 (May 2022 Event).

• Tartar Creek Road (CH1958-1970) was damaged during the Central, Southern and Western Queensland Rainfall and Flooding, 10 November - 3 December 2021 (November 2021 Event).

These works are funded under the DRFA guidelines administered by the Queensland Reconstructions Authority (QRA) with funding from the Queensland and Australian Governments.
