Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises Pty Ltd (KEE) is seeking suitably qualified Contractors to provide Recyclables Aggregation and Processing Services at the Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre (KRRC) in Ingleside, Sydney.

Recyclables are primarily sourced from Councils operating a dual bin system to separately collect co-mingled containers and paper and carboard from the kerb side. Kimbriki also provides a self-haul Drop Off Area that receives mainly cardboard which will also be supplied to this operation. 

There is currently an aggregation building with concrete floor and push walls, additional infrastructure would be welcomed noting KEE has development consent for recycling operations. 

KEE proposes to enter into an Agreement with the successful Tenderer for up to 9 years, to provide the Services at the KRRC.

Overview of Services:

The Services will require the Contractor to:

(a) Provide all plant and equipment to facilitate the acceptance and transfer of Recyclable Materials;

(b) accept all incoming Recyclable Materials, sort and refine them as required on site; 

(c) dispose of Contaminants sorted from Recyclable Materials at the KRRC landfill (or elsewhere as required); and

(d) transport Recyclable Materials to one or more approved Facilities that will sort and recycle Recyclable Materials.

Briefing and Site visit:

There will be a non-mandatory Tender Briefing and Site Inspection on the 29th of May 2024 at 10am at the Kimbriki Training Room in the Reception Building on site. Details are in the RFT documents.
