District Council of Grant (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Asset Revaluation for Buildings, Other Structures and Playgrounds (the Services).

Council is custodian of an extensive range of community assets that it provides to facilitate delivery of its services to the community. As such, Council is required to capture and value these assets and account for them according to accounting standards and other prescribed requirements to ensure good asset management practices and accurate and reliable accounting treatment.

The last comprehensive revaluation of Council Owned Buildings, Other Structures and Playgrounds was undertaken in 2017/18. Council has since undertaken desktop componentisation and revaluation of the assets (i.e.. capital improvements).

This project involves:

1. The comprehensive valuation of all Council Owned Buildings, Other Structures and Playgrounds as of 1 July 2024 at fair value (FV)
2. Provision of insurance values for all Council owned buildings.
