Parks Victoria (PV) has received funding to lighting upgrades at multiple sport field locations in Albert Park. The scope for delivery for this design and construct appointment includes:

• Completing site investigations and review of existing high level concept design documentation
• Proposing design solutions to deliver the works through issue of design drawings and specifications. Prelim and final stage documentation is required for review and approval by PV
• Working with stakeholders, planning consultants (separate PV appointment for Oval 1 only) and other PV appointed consultants as required to deliver permits and approvals
• Installation of new lighting poles/footings, LED lamps, conduits, wiring, connections, switching and other inclusions as required at locations specified
• LED lamp upgrades to existing poles at locations specified

This procurement opportunity is for the progression of existing high-level concept designs to final design stage, and the delivery of the construction works at locations specified. PV is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor (the ‘Supplier’, ‘Respondent’, ‘Proponent’ or ‘Contractor’) to undertake the works. The Supplier will work closely with the relevant PV representative to the ensure safe and timely completion of all required works.

The scope of works generally consists of the following items:

• General admin – attendance at meetings, hold discussions with PV Rangers, tenants, other stakeholders, appoint and coordinate all sub-contractors (if used)
• Submit preliminary and final design packages for PV review and approval
• Undertake site visits to ascertain existing compliance levels, project logistics, and requirements for the works for PV review and consideration in the form of detailed specifications and drawings and reports
• Assist the appointed planning consultant in attaining relevant local authority, statutory, and other relevant permits, approvals, and permissions associated with the installation of new lighting poles on Oval 1. It’s assumed a Planning Permit is not required for upgrades to existing poles at locations specified
• Develop a construction delivery plan, SWMS, and quality management system for PV review, and undertake all PV site inductions
• Procure all materials, labour, and plant required to deliver the works. Attend site and deliver construction works as per approved final design package, PV approved delivery strategy, and terms of contract
• Provide handover documentation inclusive of O&M manuals and as-built drawings
• Provide warranty period of maintenance and testing equipment to ensure the continued operational performance of all installations.
