The Principal invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for the below two projects:

Project 1: ITS2-00608 Hampton Pier Rebuild - Construction Services

Following the demolition of the existing, dilapidated Hampton Pier, located in Sandringham Harbour, in early 2024, this Tender seeks construction works for a replacement pier in a similar alignment which meets the needs of the community/recreational users and other stakeholders, in accordance with the Local Port Area Plan and the design documentation attached.

Project 2: ITS2-00609 Mornington Fishermans Jetty Rebuild - Construction Services.

Following the demolition of the existing, dilapidated Mornington Fishermans Jetty in early 2024, this Tender seeks construction works for a replacement jetty in a similar alignment which meets the needs of the community/recreational users and other stakeholders, in accordance with the Local Port Area Plan and the design documentation attached.

The Tenderer may choose to submit a Tender for one or both projects. Depending on the tenderer's submission, Parks Victoria (PV) expects the tenderer to outline the perceived advantages of their approach in bidding for one or two projects. Tender Schedule 1 provides opportunity for the tenderers to list any applicable commercial discounts and Tender Schedule 4 provides opportunity for tenderers to outline their approach and methodology for both projects, and combined approach.

Key objectives for both projects are:

1. Improved community assets: Restoring and improving landmarks.
2. Good design: Embedded sustainability solutions, increased accessibility and constructability
3. Social procurement and sustainable development: Local Jobs First and Social Procurement Framework are applicable to these projects.
4. Value for money: Optimising benefits from the site, quality design, constructability, increased asset life spans and life-cycle considerations including ease of maintenance.
5. Timely delivery: Adherence to program milestones.
