As announced on 1 July 2023, the Councils of the University of Adelaide (UoA) and the University of South Australia (UniSA) have entered into a formal agreement to work together to support the State Government in the creation of a new leading contemporary and comprehensive university of global standing.

This university for the future, called Adelaide University, will offer students a wide range of learning opportunities through a world-class institution. The transition carries a level of scale, complexity, and opportunity that is unique in the Australian sector and will be a stronger magnet for talented staff and students.

ABOUT THE TENDER

The scale of Adelaide University Sport at Adelaide University will be integral to the new university's identity and will be a focus of engagement to support the communities that we serve. We will strive for accessibility, equity and excellence in the continuum of sport by providing an inclusive place and program of activities to collaborate, connect, learn, discover, be active and compete.

We are seeking an adept Sports and Recreation Consultant who will play a pivotal role in facilitating the transition towards a refined governance and operational structure, ensuring the realization of crucial milestones and objectives for both universities.
