LGISWA - the WA Local Governments Association's mutual indemnity scheme for the WA local government sector, is seeking to engage the services of an independent consultant to undertake a process review of a random sample of our (mutual insurance) claims files.

We are looking for a person, or team with a background in insurance claims management or insurance claims related services. An understanding of the requirements of the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act (WA) and associated regulations is also required.

For undertaking the review, the consultant will attend our West Leederville office and will be given temporary view access to claims files on our online claims management system. Our claims staff will be on hand for questions and clarifications.

The consultant will be required to provide a written report of their findings and any recommended process improvements, and attend a meeting of the LGISWA Board to discuss their report.
