Mitchell Shire Council (MSC) requests the services of a suitably qualified contractor to design and construct the Wallan East Integrated Family and Children’s Centre.
The Wallan East Integrated Family and Children’s Centre (IFCC) located at the corner of Fleece Street and Barton Rise, Wallan East, will provide a vital role in forming a community-centric milestone within the significant future developments across Wallan.
The IFCC aims to set a new benchmark for the community, acting as a family focused facility that provides engaging kindergarten spaces for local children, a comforting environment for Maternal and Child Health, allied health, and family support, whilst also inviting the local community as a social hub for community activities.
Multi-purpose rooms will allow for an array of engagement and programs across all ages and provide the opportunity for local people to come together and foster new connections within the Wallan East community as well as residents from adjacent precincts.
Mitchell Shire Council’s vision for the hub is one of fluidity and flexibility across the building’s planned services and spaces. The IFCC’s mixed use provides opportunity for greater integration between different networks of residents, allowing for a strengthened community across the Wallan East precinct and associated precincts.
