The existing emergency and exit lights at Queensland Children Hospital (QCH) have reached the end of life. All existing emergency and exit lights are to be removed and replaced with a monitored wireless emergency lighting system comprising either a Stanilite Nexus RF, Clevertronics Zoneworks XT Hive or equivalent RF based emergency lighting system, unless otherwise noted on construction documents. Where required, additional Nexus RF, Zonework XT Hive or equivalent RF emergency and exit light fittings will be added to meet code compliance requirements.

The specification is applicable to the following buildings at the QCH precinct:

• CCHR (Centre for Children’s Health Research) Building
• QCH (Queensland Children Hospital) Building including tunnels and basement areas
• CEP (Central Energy Plant) Building including cooling tower platforms
• Bank Building (Heritage)

A single supplier of equipment and installation shall be used across all buildings

Site Visit

A site visit will be held at Centre for Children's Health Research, Level 2, 55 Russell Street, South Brisbane at 11 Jul, 2024 10:30 AM .

 Attendance at the briefing is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
