Tender Description
SUMMARY
The Catholic Diocese of Maitland - Newcastle is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and skill architectural firms to establish a panel of architects for future work.
DESCRIPTION
The Catholic Diocese of Maitland- Newcastle (CDMN) currently operates 58 Primary and Secondary Schools, 12 Early Education Centres, CatholicCare, Hunter Community Housing and other sites across the Newcastle and Hunter region from Morisset in the South, Taree in the North and Merriwa in the West.
Over the last 4 years, CDMN has constructed 2 new K-12 schools at Medowie and Chisholm alongside dedicated St Nicholas' Early Education Centres with other sites underway, including Social and Affordable Housing and residential sub-divisions.
CDMN seeks expressions of interest from suitably capable and experienced architectural businesses to establish a pool of firms that can partner with the Diocese to help deliver on this plan.
We seek to deliver State-of-the-art educational facilities at the leading edge of where the built form meets the changing landscape of pedagogy.
This EOI aims to communicate CDMN's high-level requirements for suitable consultants to undertake the existing architectural services in the market and review them against requirements.
ABOUT THE EOI
During this EOI, CDMN intends to collect sufficient information on the Respondent's experience, insurance, technical capability, capacity, and professional qualifications.
As a result of this EOI, CDMN will identify appropriate suppliers that would be suitable for future, more detailed Request for Tender (RFT) processes.
CDMN may, in its absolute discretion and sole judgement, accept or decline any EOI and, consequently, the offering of any RFT to any individual or Company.
Lodgement of an EOI does not result in any contract, commitment or obligation from either party being established. An EOI does not require any pricing information. If invited, the Supplier will provide their pricing in any subsequent RFT.
This EOI:
* Sets out CDMN's requirements, including specifications of services, panel arrangements, and other considerations.
* Invites Respondents to detail their experience and capability in supplying the required services.
* Requests the Respondents to provide compliance information on their WHS management systems and applicable insurances.
* Confirm their financial stability and legal capacity.
