This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) is seeking to engage a suitably experienced and qualified supplier to provide resources at different stages of delivery to support the development of an integrated data platform. All hosting environments and licensing will be controlled by the DTA.
Key deliverables include:
- Data architecture and modelling: defining data architecture and technical requirements including developing dimensional models in the Azure environment to consolidate disparate data sources.
- Data lake / warehouse: enabling all data collected or sourced to be integrated and available within a centralised platform.
- Data pipelines and interoperability: supporting the ingestion and synchronisation of data across information systems, including the development of data pipelines and undertaking maintenance using Azure tools, code repository management, CI/CD pipeline orchestration, DevOps and ETL processes.
- Customer relationship and case management: leveraging Dynamics 365 to centralise and manage stakeholders, provide data lineage and provide multi-views of initiatives.
- Enterprise search and discovery: to ensure data is discoverable, accessible and asset owners are clearly identifiable to promote the effective sharing and reuse of data available and maximize its value.
- User centric portal: customer facing portal (SaaS) using scalable as-a-service and interoperable Microsoft technologies providing a front door for data collection at the protected-level and achieve a unified data model with taxonomy to support data quality, timeliness and integrity.
- Data analytics: multi-level and dynamic data visualisations using PowerBI with analytical capabilities to extrapolate meaningful insights.
- Data governance and security: development of the appropriate governance, quality, performance, security and compliance documentation in line with Australian Government legislation, policies and procedures.
- Stakeholder management: excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive effective collaboration across teams and explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Capability development: foster a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement, providing technical guidance and training to enhance staff capabilities.
There is the expectation that any staff assigned to support the engagement will have a minimum Baseline security clearance.
