Southern Rural Water invites the Tenderer to submit a Tender for Carbon Reforestation Offset Project - Reforestation Works - Lake Glenmaggie and Merrimu Reservoir.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to site management, weed and pest control, and planting of native trees and shrubs at Lake Glenmaggie in Gippsland and Merrimu Reservoir near Bacchus Marsh.

Assessments have not been completed at Blue Rock Lake in Gippsland. Once we have finalised these assessments, we will consult with the Willow Grove community before making any decisions on plantings at Blue Rock Lake.

The sites will be prepared, with Lake Glenmaggie's plantings taking place in 2025 and Merrimu Reservoir in 2026.

Tenderers to note, a non-mandatory site visit is being held at Lake Glenmaggie and Merrimu Reservoir.

Registration cut off for site visits is 5pm 9 August 2024. Registrations must be received by cut-off time as outlined in Tender Particulars to the Tender Officer.
