The University is planning to release a tender for Height Safety Services (WS1866397533).

The services requested include the ongoing planned and minor reactive maintenance of the height safety systems for the University of Sydney. The extent of works will include all relevant buildings across all campuses. Campus locations include Camperdown, Darlington, Westmead, Camden, Narrabri and other regional locations.

Buildings and systems are of a varied nature. Buildings will range from single story through to midrise and from sandstone heritage through to recent modern buildings and associated varied roof types. Systems also have a wide range, from height safety anchors, lifelines and handrails, through to varied rope access proprietary items.

Main items of work that will be included in the scope will include:

-Annual Certification

-Request for,

•  Planned Preventative Maintenance  
• Other maintenance works as required.

Because of the scale and complexity of the requested Services, the following MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS apply for tenderers:

- 10 roof safety technicians

- minimum annual turnover/ revenue of $10M

- able to service an NSW geographical spread that includes Narrabri and Camden as well as the Sydney metro area

- experience of multi-site buildings

- IRATA trained inspection staff.

- ability to complete projects up to $500k and give examples.

- access to a certifying engineer when required.

- IRATA certification or equivalent is preferred

- certification to quality assurance system is preferred
