Tender Description
Hornsby Shire Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out urban domain works along the Pacific Highway between Asquith and Mount Colah. A detailed scope of works is specified in the RFT documents, but generally involves a combination of Civil and Landscape works including, but not limited to: footpath and shared path construction, paving, driveway reconstruction, retaining structures, drainage, earthworks, biofiltration basin construction, fencing, kerb and gutter, road shoulder restoration, installation of signs and pavement markings, tree and vegetation planting and establishment, installation of water bubblers, bike racks, bin enclosures, etc. The contractor shall also be responsible for plant establishment followed by a period of plant maintenance.
A pre-tender meeting including a site inspection will be held on Tuesday, 2 July 2024. The meeting location will be at the Council Offices at 296 Peats Ferry Road, Hornsby at 10:00am followed by an optional site walk.
