Tender Description
Continued land development and associated population growth in Busselton over the coming years has led to an increase water demand. Busselton Water's Plant 4 storage tank is downstream of Plant 2 and acts as a reservoir and head to the Plant 4 pump station. With the increase in supply flow, a second storage tank is required to be constructed at Plant 4 to ensure a level head is supplied to the pump station and that sufficient capacitance exists to supply the nearby population.
Busselton Water (the "PRINCIPAL") is seeking tenders from suitably qualified contracting companies (the "Tenderer") for Plant 4 Tank 2, Civil, Structural and Piping Supply and Construct in accordance with Drawings, Specification and Scope of Work, including but not limited to:
1. Project Management, Preliminaries, etc
2. Provision of all necessary plant, labour and materials;
3. Earthworks and civil foundation for the new tank, including drainage;
4. Civil works to new and existing pavements;
5. Installation of mechanical pipework, including all valves, fittings and supports;
6. Tie in of pipework to existing infrastructure and the new tank;
7. Testing and commissioning
