A. Request for Expressions of Interest

Bravus Mining and Resources is opening expressions of interest for suitably qualified and experienced earthworks and civil construction contractors to construct the Mine Affected Dam (MAW), at the Carmichael Coal Mine water network in the Galilee Basin, Isaac Region. The Project site is in the north Galilee Basin, Queensland, approximately 280km south of Townsville, 300km west of Mackay and 160km North West of Clermont. The closest townships to the Site are Charters Towers, which lies approximately 280km by road to the north, and Clermont which is approximately 250km by road to the southeast. The nearest highway is the Gregory Developmental Road, which runs between Clermont and Charters Towers.

Vendors expressing interest should have experience in, and capacity to delivery all elements of work required in a remote mining environment, specifically related to bulk earthworks and drainage, including but not limited to:

• Management systems (safety, quality, environmental, project management)
• Management & supervision
•  Technical services including engineering, estimating, planning and procurement
• Supply of trade qualified and labour personnel
• Supply of plant, equipment, and vehicles
• Supply of materials and testing
• Local warehousing, workshops & offices

Works will be undertaken on a coal mining lease and will require compliance to the Companies onsite systems under the QLD Coal Mining Safety and Health Regulations.

– Win, load and haul to fill

– Ground surface treatment (if required)

– Trim and compact

– Clay lining (if required)

– Place rip rap

•  Dam Bund Spillway

– Clearing and grubbing

– Strip and stockpile topsoil

– Supply and install geofabric

– Supply and install rip rap

• MAW Drain and Clear Water Drain

– Clearing and grubbing

– Strip topsoil

– Win, load and haul to fill

– Trim drains

– Grass seeding (spraying)

– Supply and install geofabric

– Supply and install rip rap

• Flood Levee

– Clearing and grubbing

– Strip and stockpile topsoil

– Condition, install, compact, trimming

– Supply and install geofabric

– Supply and install rip rap

C. High level Quantities

Construction of Dam: 500,000 bcm

MAW Drain and Clean Water Drain: 1,200,000 bcm

D. Indicative Key dates:

Formal RFT Invitation: To be issued in early July 2024

On site construction to occur over April 2025 to October 2025
