Hydro Tasmania is seeking to replace the existing Generator Transformer at Rowallan Power Station which is at end of life and due for replacement. It is proposed that a direct replacement of the existing three phase 6.6/22kV, 11MVA is procured, with the major difference in that it will utilise Ester Oil rather than Mineral Oil.

The requested scope of work is to supply a 12 MVA, 6.6/23 kV YNd11 FR3 ester oil transformer.

In addition, the following services are required:

- Design

-Manufacture

- Quality assurance

-Factory acceptance testing

- Delivery

-Installation

- Site Acceptance Testing

- Supply of documentation in accordance with the scope requirements
