2. Course Management: Tools for creating, organising, and delivering courses, including support for multimedia content, assessments, quizzes, assignments, discussions, and grading.
3. Content Management: Features for uploading, organizing, and sharing various types of content, including documents, presentations, videos, and interactive materials.
4. Assessment and Feedback: Tools for creating and administering assessments, quizzes, surveys, and assignments, as well as providing feedback, grading, and tracking student progress.
5. Communication and Collaboration: Features for facilitating communication and collaboration among users, including announcements, messaging, discussion forums, group activities, and virtual classrooms.
6. Reporting and Analytics: Tools for generating reports and analytics on user activity, course engagement, assessment results, completion rates, and other performance metrics to monitor and improve learning outcomes.
7. Integration and Compatibility: Compatibility with existing systems, standards, and protocols (e.g., SCORM, LTI) to enable seamless integration with other tools, platforms, and services.
8. Customisation and Branding: The ability to customize the LMS interface, branding, themes, and templates to reflect DVA’s identity and enhance user engagement.
9. Accessibility and Usability: Support for accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to ensure that the LMS is usable by all users, including those with disabilities, and features intuitive navigation and user-friendly interfaces.
10. Security and Data Privacy: Robust security measures to protect user data, prevent unauthorized access, ensure data encryption, comply with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA), and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
11. Data Ownership and Accessibility: DVA retains ownership of the user data, and relevant courses and content stored within the LMS.
12. Data Migration Support: The vendor will provide assistance and support for migrating data from the existing LMS to the new system, including guidance on data extraction and transfer processes.
