INTRODUCTION:
Logan City Council (Council) is seeking an operator to operate and manage the Wilbur Street Youth Centre, located in Logan Central.
The operator must engage with the community to delivery appropriate services, programs and/or events that achieve the below objectives:
- Provide a welcoming environment for youth between the ages of 12 to 24 years to meet, socialise, learn and participate.
- Provide opportunities that are youth driven to establish uptake, promote activation, and respond to changing needs and interests over time.
- Provide an inclusive environment for youth of all abilities and cultural backgrounds.
- Provide a space that has regard for community and personal safety of young people. Young people should feel comfortable using and accessing the space from various parts of the city and at different times of the day.
ENQUIRIES:
Any questions and responses shall be collated, documented and distributed to all tenderers to ensure equity and fairness to all respondents.
The final date for accepting questions regarding this tender via the Online Forum, is 4:00pm Tuesday, 23 July 2024. Any questions after this date will not receive a response.
BRIEFING SESSION:
An online tender briefing session will be held for prospective tenderers on Wednesday 10 July 2024, via MS Teams commencing at 10am. This session is aimed to assist tenderers in understanding the tender documents and completing the response forms, it is not to provide technical advice around the specification requirements.
Attendance at the online tender briefing session is not mandatory but encouraged.
Prospective tenderers are to contact (tendering@logan.qld.gov.au) by 4pm, Monday 8 July 2024 advising the names and emails of those proposing to attend the online tender briefing session. Once registered, a link will be provided to join the session.
The online tender briefing session is expected to conclude within one (1) hour.
TENDER SITE VISIT:
A tender site visit will be held for tenderers to walk through the youth facility on 17 July 2024. Prospective tenderers are to contact (tendering@logan.qld.gov.au) by 4pm, Thursday 11 July 2024 advising the names of those who will be attending (maximum of two per organisation). Attendance is not mandatory.
LODGEMENT OF SUBMISSIONS:
Completed responses must be submitted online using the Online Response Forms within the Portal. On occasion, you will also be instructed to upload separate documentation to support your submission.
If you have been asked to make a response to a mandatory question and it is not applicable for your submission, please enter N/A into the mandatory field. If a mandatory is left blank, you will not be able to upload your submission.
The Tender can only be submitted electronically through using the Online Response Forms and prior to the Closing Date. At any time prior to the Closing Date, Council may issue additional or different information to Tenderers, which shall be taken into account in preparation of the Tender.
