Deakin University is an educational institution that places learning opportunities at the forefront of consideration when deploying its assets and resources. The Microgrid was deployed to reduce the campus import of fossil-based grid electricity and reduce peak load occurrence's impact that increases power cost and places a burden on the wider grid.

Deakin University invites proposals in response to this Request for Proposal (RFP), from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the maintenance management and servicing of Deakin Universities' Microgrid in Waurn Ponds for an initial term of three years, from 1 November 2024 (indicative) through to 31 October 2027 with an option to extend for a further two years at the discretion of Deakin University.

Deakin works in partnership with the service provider to deliver a high standard of service in the following key deliverables.

• Develop a Maintenance Management Plan (MMP)
• Remotely monitor the performance of the Deakin Microgrid
• Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of the Microgrid and defect
• rectification
• Reporting
• Cleaning and vegetation management
• Critical spare parts inventory

All submissions should be lodged into the electronic tender box.

Late submissions will not be accepted.
