Frankston City Council is inviting tenders from experienced contractors with specific knowledge and experience in the supply, installation and overall construction of play spaces including associated landscaping works.

Sandfield Reserve is located in the heart of Carrum Downs, approximately 7.5 km north of the Frankston Central Activity District, situated at 49R Sandfield Drive, Carrum Downs.

Sandfield Reserve is approximately 47,000 square metres in size. The park is home to a large off-lead dog park, an existing play space, a skate park with basketball court and an extensive walking path network.

A Master Plan for Sandfield Reserve was prepared by Council, following extensive consultation, in 2021 and Council’s Play Strategy (2021) highlights several recommendations for the park including the design and construction of a new District classification and destination play space.
