Queensland Hydro is seeking Tenders for the provision of Website design and development, Hosting and Support services.

Queensland Hydro has identified opportunities to enhance how it communicates its work and engages with its stakeholders to provide transparent and up-to-date information on its work to design, deliver, operate and maintain long duration pumped hydro energy storage assets that will be the cornerstone of the transformation of the state’s energy system

As the development of pumped hydro projects progresses, effective communication with stakeholders becomes increasingly important. Therefore, the website must address the needs of a variety of stakeholders and audiences, including the public, local communities, environmental groups, suppliers and businesses, future employees, and the media. To accommodate this diverse group, Queensland Hydro must employ different communication styles to reach all audiences effectively. Additionally, after the website goes live, it is expected the supplier will provide ongoing maintenance and support, hosting and future feature enhancements services via item 7 of the General Contract details ‘As a Service’ section in the General Conditions of Contract including ICT Professional Services.

It is crucial to acknowledge the cyber security responsibility of the hosting partner within the ‘As a Service’ framework. The hosting partner should be tasked with implementing robust security measures to safeguard the system against potential cyber threats. This includes measures such as regular vulnerability assessments, intrusion detection systems, security patch management, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The purpose of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to engage with the market to source suitably qualified Supplier(s) for the provision of Website design and development, Hosting and Support services.
