Tender Description
In this Request for Information, icare is seeking information on the proposed best market approach to delivering radiology reporting for icare’s lung screening service. The proposed approach should consider data security throughout the process, technology and process which can be customised to customer requirements.
Scope
The RFI seeks responses from providers who:
• Have proven relevant experience and expertise in providing radiology reporting of chest x-rays.
• Comply with International Labour Organisation Classification (ILO coding).
• Have Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation and comply with relevant standards.
Required Services are radiology reports of chest x-rays for the following purposes:
• Health monitoring for asbestos dust exposure.
• Health monitoring for crystalline silica dust exposure (reported with International Labour Organisation Classification (ILO coding).
• Compensation screening (includes comparison with previous X-ray images).Requests for reports by icare must fulfilled according to the timeframe relevant to the type of request made by icare.
Requests will be 1 of the following 2 types:
• Routine request: the Service Provider must produce the completed report to icare within 3 business days.
• Urgent request: (only applicable to reports for the purpose of health monitoring for asbestos dust exposure) the Service Provider must produce the completed report to icare within 3 hours.
Amendment of reports may be requested in which the Service Provider may be required to respond to icare's enquiries seeking clarification of radiology reports and adjust the style, content, formatting and delivery of radiology reports at the request of icare.
